Saturday on a Toyota Rav4 /// 11:40 pm
So, Keith, my homestay's bf, got himself a new car. Toyota Rav4. The car that I have been eyeing in Singapore, including the Lexus make of the same car.
So.... we went to Hillary Harbour.
Salt and water.
And it was nice. Actually going out on a Saturday with someone else.
The sea was soooooo blue. And the weather was so hot... Its really neurotic, the weather here.
So it was ranging a 22 deg, and now its like 9 deg, and the min temperature will continue dropping here.
Yeah going back into the topic.
There was a Emily the Strange + some other misc stuff shop. The bags were so nice!!!!!! Tempted to buy one, but then nahhhhh.
So basically we walked the entire harbour.
There was a fishing competition taking place then. And some guy got some............ mutant bass. Well maybe a black garoupa. I dont know, but i just know that it was massive. And then the guy was teaching the guy who caught it to cut it.
And some idiots diving into the harbour. The irony is that.... they were standing on this mini guard tower which had a very big sign saying " SWIMMING PROHIBITED". So they are either dumb or illiterate. I choose both. There was a jagged rock break water near the side for God's sake!
We talked to this kid who was sitting down there near the fishing competition. We thought the bucket was a bait bucket, but then it turned out to be a pail carrying a small fish. The kid said "Its a fish, I catched it. I catched it there!" Hahahahaha it was slightly funny, with the grammatical error.
And we went to eat gelato!!!!... The australians love their gelato. There were many flavours, but I chose Lemon Meringue Pie flavour. mmmmm. Really enjoyed it. (:
And then we went to the Scarborough Shopping Arcade, where someone was selling thick winter coats at $10. Its like their clearance sale is really clearance sales......
Haha! and we saw this Maltese-shitzu-pekingese? cross and it was SOOOOOO CUTE. Its cute as those Russ beanies.....And soft too. :3
And we left after that.
Um, if you bother to save the picture and zoom in, you will see this sail boat. But then these pictures were taken with my phone, so......
So we went to Keith's mother's house. She had a really nice garden. Probably because of all the ant hills there. I counted about 8. And they were on the driveway...... Quite an ant problem, eh?
We stayed in the car (me, helena, luissa) so we practially watched the sunset while exploring Luissa's iTouch. Which comes to me wonder about the practicality of the iTouch. As in you can get an iPod which will give you the same properties if your iTouch has no internet and an iPhone that gives you more with calls.
Point: Apple stop wasting resources to make in between products!!!
So, as I was saying, we stopped at Nando's to eat dinner. I think I ate something burnt just now. My throat doesnt feel as good now.
And then we went to Keith's apartment. To watch tv. -.- well foxtv. So.... we watched the first part of High School Musical 2 and then watched the Olympics. Which led me to fall asleep. Apparently the three of us all fell asleep after each other. And then we woke up and left the apartment at 11.
So here I am. A bit too alert.
